When someone coined the phrase “ selling like hot cakes” they could have been talking about these sticky ginger puddings. Soon after starting to make sticky toffee pudding the team in Cartmel decided to try adding some warming ginger, just to spice things up a bit. What a fabulous decision this was as they certainly sell as well as ‘hot cakes’.
